the CUTEST apron

abby, over at The Feathered Nest, is so clever and crafty! i adore her and her blog ;)   once i saw her tutorial, i had to go to hobby lobby~ i love hobby lobby too!

it was really hard to pick out fabric! there are so many really cute fabrics available at hobby lobby.  seeing all the rows and rows of prints made me want to make my own clothes.

{and i've never made a scrap of clothing before! shh!}

it took a while, but i finally picked out two super cute prints for myself and a few others for my girls.

these are the prints i chose.  don't you love it? 

i should buy more and make a skirt :)

i just followed abby's instructions and cut out all of the pieces: front and back panels, ties, top and bottom bands ~ with a little help ;)

it's way easy to pin the right sides together and sew straight lines.

 

voila! the finished product.  cooking and cleaning are way more fun with a cute apron!
