strawberry spinach salad dressing

sometimes i'm in the mood for something light and fresh.

this always hits the spot~

{photo from Savory Sweet Life}

sliced strawberries and baby spinach = yum.

a little of this dressing goes a long way.
to keep the salad from getting soggy,
i like to pour the dressing on just before serving.

1/2 cup oil
{i like olive}

1/4 cup sugar
{the original recipe called for 1/2 cup. it was too much for me}

1/4 cup red wine vinegar
{fancy!}

1/4 tsp paprika

2 tsp sesame seeds

1 tsp poppy seeds

combine all ingredients. chill or serve immediately over
fresh sliced strawberries and fresh baby spinach.

in case you're wondering how healthy this dressing is,
a serving is a little over 1 Tbsp and has 88 calories.
